Mardi Gras in Jefferson has grown through the years and more volunteers are needed in order to present this event. As with most towns that put on Mardi Gras Celebrations there is more than one Krewe required to put on such an event. New Orleans for example has 39 different Krewe's that present their Mardi Gras each year.

Wanting Jefferson to have a bigger and better event each year prompted the creation of it's new Krewe named Mystic Krewe of Fleur De Lis. This will certainly add more fun and variety to an already successful event that can only get better with more new Krewes being created.

Since this is the first year for Mystic Krewe of Fleur De Lis their venue may be different from what Jefferson has had to offer in the past. Look for events by this Krewe at such places at "Bull Durhams Playhouse"

This years event will be filled with excitement, lots of entertainment and throws for all of the crowd to catch.
